| Drawing is perhaps
the discipline in which Yoc achieves his most personal form of expression.
The conciseness and subtlety of the stroke combined with dramatic
chiaroscuro effects result in a dreamlike, half real, half fantasy
world, filled with lights and shadows. The artist’s versatility
is reflected in his use of a variety of techniques, such as ink, sepia,
sanguine, charcoal or graphite, all of them displaying his preoccupation
with searching for new uses and applications |
